Coffee Shop Promise

I am not exaggerating when I say that the cafe where I took this pic will always be one of my all-time favourite places on the planet.

Most customers miss this blackboard. It’s kind of tucked away and easily glanced over by those entering the place.

Yet its message is spot on.

Their “service checklist” (on the right here) details what’s expected of staff.

(I particularly liked #8, slightly obscured by the eggs; “a twinkle in your tone”!)

And next to it (on the left) is where they feel they are different to other establishments you could choose nearby.

How many salesteams I know could do with something like this… Simply laid out, succinct message, constant reminder.

Maybe it’s how quickly you respond to quote requests. Or what happens when things go pear shaped. Or just why people deal with you over any other choice out there.
