I came across this original tweet above, via the postings of a marketeer. He suggested the imagery showed, “Russell Davies on one of the key skills needed by planners being the ability to make connections between seemingly unconnected stuff”.
Regardless of the validity of this view – which I feel is high – the graphical representation of the quote text is surely a winner.
One which we as salespeople that must also moonlight as our own slide design department can readily replicate.
Any quote or finding that we wish to educate our audience with, building on or suggesting angles, movement or connections can benefit greatly from this same treatment.
It’s different, will likely be new to your audience, and could well just jolt – or to use the trendy term, disrupt – their minds into remembering your vital message.
