Still Results-Obsessed?

Yes yes we don't do gurus I know.

Even (especially?) if they've sold 25 million books and counting in 92 languages.

And definitely not if they peddle a coaching course. Like the one Robin Sharma or one of his perhaps many factotums was busy plugging in this weekend's Times [sub'n req'd].

I guess we can all giggle through the 'broken clock right twice a day' get-out-clause. After all, who are were mere mortals to dispute Seneca's bruised apple tenet?

But you gotta say, there is no evidence getting up at 5am makes you more productive.

As this particular chap made a mint from insisting.

Yet there is a baby/bathwater dynamic.

Action consistency (so now it's 66 days to ingrain a habit?), micro-challenges and doing the hard stuff makes us happier all hold appeal.

Leading to the excerpt cited up-top.

What an open door he pushes.

For this is a core principle of mine.

Let's take those two direct quotes;

"personal mastery is made on the climb not the summit"
'most athletes are "process-focused rather than results-obsessed" '

Now adapt them for Sales;

"selling mastery is made on the campaign not the close"
'successfully, consistently high-achieving salespeople are "process-focused rather than results-obsessed" '

Absolutely.

These core for you yet too?
