Quite the month in American politics, hey. When even your staunchest media allies post such insider deets on your troubles, you probably know the game is up.

Then after an unprecedented series of (dare I say, black swan that somehow suddenly now feel like a flock of white swan) events, so it proved.

Leaving if we can such hysteria to one side, there's prep that we as solution sellers ought take from this. Namely how future presentation venues are (to use the argot of famed, fictional American private detectives) cased.

Seldom might we pitch in such august arenas. Yet every Boardroom in our prospect offices offers grandeur for our ambitions and our buyers hoping we prevail.

A room that we can get a glimpse of beforehand.

Whether a physical walk into, or a video call reveal from our supporting prospects, there's plenty to glean.

From floor plan to lighting to positioning.

If you don't do this, often it may not be the end of the bid.

But anyone who's had sub-optimal conditions sprung on them will realise anything you can do to reduce chance of disaster must be grasped.

I myself have been struck by this curse.
