Wedge Thin End Prop

Sales call imminent, no time to work your slideware magic?

Well, if you know the point you want to spark debate, signal you're on top of things, and stick, then take a leaf out of this broadcasters book.

Former music now football journalist, Danny Kelly. From his Southern Irish home. Here with 'one prepared earlier'. A drawing, that is.

He's berating the cash-grab of European football to play league fixtures abroad. Not just in other countries, but in places time zones apart.

As with the EPL's infamous 'Game 39', the idea now looks consigned to the bin. For now.

He was of the view that holding even one match in far flung corners was simply 'the thin end of the wedge'. With real fans shut out of watching their team live this once, but soon to swell to ever more.

Notable about this prop is its sheer existence.

Then there's the possibility that he did not have a marker pen in his home.

No matter. Just use a biro. Going over the single pen strokes a few times to be sure for all but the labels, ↓ & ᴡᴇᴅɢᴇ.

I think such 'hack' (if indeed it is so) actually works well.

Giving us comfort we ought not fret if only thin nib to hand.

I've done similar myself down the years. Not only video, but also in-person. Although with the latter, it's also lovely to scribble it out in front of others as and when warranted.

Make sure you also have this in your meeting armoury.

As an aside, here's the zoomscapes from the pair of regulars on this particular show.

Andy Brassell the other footie journo, specifically on bringing the week's football throughout Europe to perhaps parochial English ears. Above in his normal set-up. As well as his substitute space. Sans cans, avec mic.

And below, upstairs in the missus' space when visiting Chez Kelly. Telling us he'll shortly race downstairs to join his host on camera.
