Pitch Close Rinse Repeat
Yes our self-appointed global metropolitan elite overlords yet again exposed for what they are. Downfall through "human vanity, greed, abuse and corruption". Widely denounced after release of three million files surrounding one utterly disgraced, super-connected American 'financier'. Journalists pore over such staggering source volume for a drip-feed of horrors. One such assessment seeking context provided this broadsheet lede;
How Epstein ensnared the world’s elite: flatter, connect, reward, repeat. The financier and paedophile ran two networks: powerful men he courted, and women and girls he raped.
Flatter Connect Reward Repeat.
If it sounds familiar it's because this written style has been with us a couple o' generations now. I first recall it in the 90s. Accompanying the then dance culture explosion.
Eat. Sleep. Rave. Repeat. That became a proudly worn t-shirt slogan. Lifestyle 'rave' soon got swapped out for all manner of other activities. From Dance to Work, and Game to Code. Just about any hobby, sport or pursuit can get switched in. As the briefest of searches can tell us, it's very much workplace ready. 'Adaptable to critique or humorously depict work-dominated life, as it's now a staple in motivational/ironic quote graphics, workplace memes, and productivity culture commentary'.
Leading to a multitude of options for that critical third word in our arena;
sell, pitch, close, upsell, prospect, quota, pipeline, demo.
And to ride my favourite theme; process.
Where the above example moves is in changing up the entire opening trio.
Where the 'trad' meme can suit a specific Sales situation - highlighting one standout element whether it be for prospect or colleagues - a fuller remix allows for broader point-making.
Warming to my aforementioned theme;
Open Issue Approve Repeat.
With plenty of variations poised.
For reference, here's eight an AI presented upon which to build better.
Prospect. Demo. Close. Repeat.
Hunt. Nurture. Win. Repeat.
Call. Email. Book. Repeat.
Pipeline. Forecast. Crush. Repeat.
Objection. Negotiate. Sign. Repeat.
Research. Outreach. Qualify. Repeat.
Renew. Expand. Retain. Repeat.
Target. Execute. Exceed. Repeat.
Just like those groovy ol' t-shirts, similar can be most useful emblazoned on a slide too.
