Pop Promo Handcam Meeting Visuals

Somehow an indie-ish music video entered my feeds. A track with initial promise, unfulfilled in delivery.
Still, I watched the retro-style home video cassette vibe. Realising how ridiculously cheap it's thankfully become to make your own on a step to stardom. Even if only the payola might of the majors can actually earn you 'money' through their Faustian pact.
I happily smiled at their satirical bent. In similar vein to one I also noted last month.
The perfect "marketing strategy".
Save the Pies for Dessert, as said doyen Stephen Few [see his seminal 14pp pdf from 2007].
Which the band are keen to reinforce, with knowing winks aplenty.
Yet here is a belter of the genre. Even down to the sightly out-of-kilter slice-lines, randomly slanted labels and 'shorthand' typo.
Just the kind of vibe to leave behind for next arrivals in a prospect room as you vacate.
Next we have those without which no meeting can be said to exist.

Their "action items" handful.
An ᴀɴᴅ underlined, double. How that third for 'sob story' has two question marks. And fourth, natty pop-culture reference piggybacked.
Someone's gone for big bold round bullet markers too. Surprised they didn't use an alt, such as trite dollar symbol, or say musical quaver, rather.
I mischievously note they also left addended names or initials of those responsible hanging in the ether.
Lastly, they've a helpful map.

Their 'tour' journey across the English Channel to Brussels.
This being a gentle reminder that we needn't stick to an actual map screenshot, daubed with a pin and journey lines.
The time involved to reduce down to bare bones, and in so doing far remove from what any 'competing' interest displays, is always worthwhile.
