Credit where it's due. I found the above a neat visual.

Naturally, I asked the bot its rationale for presenting it me this way.

It cited "functional rescue";

Whilst aspects of that explanation veer worryingly towards BS Bingo carding, I instantly thought of what a great slide the above template could be used for.

A Process Tree.

Before going into that, consider alternatives 'consciously' passed over.

Perhaps the default being some kind of timeline listing. Overlooked as its step-by-step treatment would make for too cluttered a picture in this case.

Similarly no good here would be a classic flow chart. As decision diamonds and the like wouldn't make for instant comprehension when the pressure might be on.

Then there's the decision matrix or table approach. But any 'logical' flow of the 'chrono' is obscured.

So what has the above got going for it?

Well, bizarrely many a presenter might now eschew it. They'd think it just isn't 'sophisticated' enough for today's audience. They'd be mistaken.

Just because it's in 'old-fashioned' typewriter monospace don't be put off.

Don't fall into the trap of, 'who uses ASCII these days, hey?'

Nor dismiss on account of those bullets and lines.

They are what helps make it.
