There can be few more fabled venture capitalists than this crew. Check their CrunchBase and Wikipedia profiles for evidence. As of now, their assertion estimating that “14% of the NASDAQ’s value is made up of firms Sequoia has funded” is a fantastic metric.

Helpfully, they include advice on what should frame and feature in a business plan.
