Bumper Sticker Framing

“the President got off on a technicality”

How opponents of My Boy Donny wail. Given Special Prosecutor Mueller’s eventual public pronouncements this week. His lengthy investigation into Russian meddling in the most recent American race for the White House long done. Apparently, “charges were not an option” open to him.

Trump, naturally, gushes that he’s fully cleared.

Whichever side you’re on, one element of the subsequent reporting grabbed my Sales antennae.

It began something akin to;

‘Donald Trump created a perfect bumper sticker response to the investigation, with just four words’;

NO COLLUSION NO OBSTRUCTION

Yes. Here’s a guy who truly gets communication.

I google image-searched ‘bumper stickers’.

Very similar to t-shirt sloganising (also of relevance to those of us working to improve selling), a vast curation of random short phrases were duly returned. They appear predominantly an American thang. Here’s a first ten I can recount, beyond the profane and political;

MY OTHER CAR IS A [insert anything flash]
SAVE OUR FOREST
I ♡ MY [insert treasured item of choice, even WIFE or DOG]
DO YOU FOLLOW [insert religiosity of choice] THIS CLOSE
BE KIND
HONK IF YOU [insert iffiness of choice]
I WAS AN HONOR STUDENT-I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED
MAKE TACOS NOT WAR
ORGAN DONOR
GO GREEN

Is this a meme to mine with your latest sales push?

Can it reveal something that can make your prospects think a bit, or even rally behind?

Maybe a quick round-the-room at your next internal get-together?
